TERMS AND CONDITIONS – VILLA GRANDI
Welcome to Villa Grandi, a holiday resort located in Otrobanda, Curaçao. By making a booking at our resort, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Rates and Payments
The accommodation rates are exclusive of 7% Curaçao Sales Tax (OB), service charges, and electricity usage.
All amounts are quoted in euros (€).
A security deposit is required upon booking: €250 for Villa Awa and Villa Blenchi, €500 for the City Villa, and €1,100 for the complete resort.
Electricity usage is not included in the booking price and will be charged afterward. This amount will be deducted from the security deposit.
Reservations and Payments
A minimum stay of five nights is generally required for a booking. For Villa Awa and Villa Blenchi, a minimum of three nights may apply during certain periods.
50% of the total amount and the security deposit must be paid at the time of booking. The remaining 50% must be paid no later than 35 days before arrival.
Cancellation Policy
For cancellations between 60 and 31 days prior to arrival, 50% of the total booking amount will be charged.
For cancellations from 30 days before arrival up to the arrival date, 90% of the total booking amount will be charged.
Check-in and Check-out
Check-in is possible between 4:00 PM and 9:00 PM on the day of arrival. Early check-in can be arranged upon request if possible. Guests may also access the property independently using a code for the automatic gate and key box.
Check-out time is no later than 11:00 AM on the day of departure, unless a late check-out has been agreed.
Security Deposit and Electricity Usage
The security deposit is used to cover any damage to the accommodation or additional costs, such as electricity and excessive water usage.
Electricity usage will be calculated after the stay and deducted from the deposit. Any remaining amount will be refunded within 7 days after departure.
Cleaning and Linen
Depending on the length of stay, villas, bed linen, and towels will be changed every five to six nights for stays longer than ten nights.
A cleaning fee applies: €150 per booking for Villas Awa and Blenchi, €250 for the City Villa, and €550 for the complete resort. These amounts include 6% Curaçao Sales Tax.
Pool Use
The pool is available for use from 8:00 AM until sunset.
Guests are required to use the outdoor shower before entering the pool.
No glassware or sharp objects are allowed near the pool.
Playing music at the pool is not allowed.
Children must always be supervised by an adult while using the pool.
Responsible Water Use
Water is a precious resource in Curaçao. We kindly ask you to use water sparingly during your stay.
Excessive water consumption may be charged after your stay.
Hygiëne
Vanwege het tropische klimaat wordt van gasten verwacht dat ze een goede hygiëne in acht nemen om ongedierte en andere problemen te voorkomen.
Indien de hygiëneregels niet worden nageleefd en ongediertebestrijding moet worden ingeschakeld, worden de kosten hiervan aan de gasten doorberekend.
House Rules
Villa Grandi is a 100% smoke-free resort. Smoking is not allowed in the villas or on the resort grounds.
Pets are not allowed.
Liability
Villa Grandi is not liable for the loss, theft, or damage to guests’ personal belongings.
Guests are responsible for any damage caused by themselves or their travel companions to the accommodation or property of Villa Grandi.
Changes and Unforeseen Events
Villa Grandi reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
In the event of force majeure, such as natural disasters or other unforeseen circumstances that make the stay impossible, Villa Grandi will strive to offer a suitable solution. Refunds or compensation will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
